Nadine Khoury MHSc., RD
Registered Dietitian - The Boulevard Club Office

Nadine is a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience in facilitating her clients’ achievement of their health and nutrition goals. Nadine received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from McGill University in Montreal and completed the Master's of Health Sciences program in Nutrition Communications at Ryerson University. Nadine worked for many years within a multidisciplinary hospital setting as a clinical dietitian.
Currently, Nadine counsels executive clients at the Medcan clinic as part of their comprehensive health assessment package. She has extensive experience in developing individualized meal plans for various health requirements namely weight loss, sports nutrition, diabetes and elevated blood lipids. She also enjoys cooking, developing recipes and delivering group presentations and education sessions. Nadine is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention through the enjoyment of food and nutrition.



Jackie Allen RD, BSc, CDE

Registered Dietitian & Certified Diabetes Educator

Jackie is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Jackie completed her nutrition training at both the University of Guelph and in the Capital Health Region in Edmonton, Alberta. Jackie’s attention has been focused on a variety of areas: Prevention and management of diabetes and heart disease, weight management counseling, food administration, health promotion, and clinical research. She has worked as a primary health care dietitian on a First Nations reserve counseling adults and children and in a 3 year position at an endocrinology, weight management, and research clinic in Toronto. She works as a diabetes educator for North Toronto for a community-based diabetes education program where she facilitates group education classes, provides individual counseling sessions, and assists in the planning and evaluation of the program. Jackie’s experience with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds has been complemented by her travel and interest in world cultures and cuisine. Jackie provides nutrition counselling and oversees our nutrition programming.



Suzanne Bardos Executive Chef & Nutrition Director

Suzanne is a graduate of the Food and Nutrition Program at George Brown College where her culinary skills were matched with enhanced nutrition knowledge. Suzanne has worked in numerous health centres, restaurants and hotels across Canada. Suzanne is a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, whose members are in the position to carry out the dietary guidelines specified by Physicians and Registered Dietitians in health centres, by training and supervising others in the preparation of special diets. Most of the members of the CSNM work as Nutrition Managers in the healthcare field where there is a high demand. Suzanne truly felt that her calling was in the community, allowing her to maintain her high standard for premium cuisine which includes local and organic foods. Suzanne organizes the operations of Equilibrium Nutrition as well as leading cooking classes, nutrition program development, menu planning and performing personal chef services with our team of kitchen professionals.



Katie Compton, BHSc, RHN

Katie graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Health Sciences, completed training as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and additionally completed her chef training at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City. After which, she returned to Toronto and began working at Equilibrium Nutrition as a cook and nutrition consultant. Katie’s passion for health and nutrition drove her to work in the wellness industry as a personal trainer, lifestyle coach, and as a nutrition consultant. She has worked with clients in the corporate and private sectors conducting seminars, weight loss programs and cooking demonstrations. Katie continues to practice her creativity in the kitchen creating new recipes and teaching others how to cook healthy food without compromising on taste. She excels in the kitchen in the area of vegetarian cuisine and cooking for those who have food restrictions such as gluten intolerance, dairy allergies and diabetes.



Angela McKnight Young
Food & Nutrition cert., CSNM member

Angela graduated from George Brown College in both the Culinary and Food & Nutrition Management programs. Angela’s nutrition training combined with excellent cooking skills are perfect for teaching individual and group cooking classes in the area of disease prevention and general wellness. Her culinary skills are also well put to use as a cook in our catering department as well as developing and standardizing recipes for food service operations. Angela works as a coach for our nutrition program at Mobilize Youth in Toronto, assisting overweight and obese youth and their families make effective healthy changes in their daily lives, via meal planning sessions, practical preparation hints and teaching the kids about the inportance of a healthy diet.



Alexandra Masliwec, B.Sc, B.A.Sc (cand.)

MobilizeYouth Nutrition Coach

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in Life Sciences and is completing her second degree in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph. She has extensive experience in the field of nutrition, both academically and professionally, particularly in the fields of childhood and adolescent nutrition. She has assisted in the delivery of the Ontario School Breakfast program, educating students about healthy eating choices and planning meals for the program. She has also worked with the Eating Disorder Awareness Coalition of Waterloo region to deliver high school and elementary school sessions about positive body image building, healthy lifestyle choices and beliefs and eating disorder awareness. Alexandra has also worked with Transition Health and Running Room, Inc. to deliver nutrition sessions to various running clinics in the Hamilton-Burlington area.
